Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Akure. As an Accountant at Jomav Homes, you will be responsible for managing and documenting financial transactions, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. Additional responsibilities include monitoring budgets, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and providing financial insights to support decision-making within the organization. Your expertise will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the company.

Qualifications

• Expertise in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and budget management
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills for accurate financial analysis
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records and transactions
• Familiarity with tax regulations, compliance standards, and financial best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent are a plus
• Experience in real estate or property management accounting is an advantage
• Resident in Akure or willing to relocate
