Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash flow management
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and tax laws
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
- Monitor financial transactions and recommend process improvements.
Requirements;
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years relevant accounting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Attention to detail
- Time management and organization
- Communication and teamwork
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the oil & gas or construction industry
- Knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and compliance requirements
Location: Benin City (Only candidate located in Benin)
Remuneration: NGN 250,000 – 350,000 (Based on experience)
