Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper bookkeeping
  
• Cash Flow & Treasury: Monitor daily cash flow and support treasury activities
  
• Cost Accounting: Handle production costing, variance analysis, and cost control
  
• Inventory Control: Perform stock valuation, reconciliations, and ensure accurate inventory records
  
• Budgeting & Financial Planning: Assist in budget preparation and track budget performance
  
• Payroll Administration: Process monthly payroll and ensure statutory deductions are remitted
  
• Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Handle VAT, WHT, PAYE filings and ensure compliance with FIRS/LIRS
  
• Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal control procedures
  
• Accounts Receivable: Manage customer invoicing, follow-ups, and collections
  
• Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, payments, and reconcile supplier accounts
  
• Management Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports for management review
  
• Audit & Documentation: Support internal and external audit processes with proper documentation
  
• Banking & Foreign Transactions: Handle bank reconciliations and process foreign transactions
  
• Business Analysis: Provide basic financial analysis to support business decisions
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of an HND in Accounting or related field. ACA/ACCA in view is an advantage
  
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an Accountant in a Manufacturing company*
  
• Must reside in Ota/Idi-Roko area
  
• Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting and Inventory Management
  
• Proficient in Accounting software and MS Excel
  
• Knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations
  
• Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to meet deadlines
