The Access Control Engineer serves as a critical technical authority responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of access control and security infrastructure. This role directly impacts the operational integrity of our high-traffic facilities by ensuring seamless system performance, rapid resolution of technical bottlenecks, and the reliable deployment of advanced security hardware.

Responsibilities:
- Execute the professional installation, configuration, and rigorous testing of diverse access control systems, including biometric devices, smart locks, card readers, turnstiles, and integrated CCTV infrastructure.
- Lead on-site troubleshooting efforts for electronic circuits, power supply systems, and complex signal connectivity issues to minimize system downtime.
- Manage the configuration of software tools and backend database setups required for the optimal operation of security hardware.
- Conduct comprehensive preventive maintenance routines, system upgrades, and final commissioning for new and existing projects to ensure long-term stability.
- Maintain detailed and accurate technical documentation, including site reports, configuration logs, and troubleshooting history for all managed assets.
- Provide expert guidance to clients through technical training sessions, proactive advice on system enhancements, and clear escalation protocols for complex service requirements.
Requirements:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on professional experience in the installation and support of access control and security systems.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in reading circuit diagrams, managing power supply infrastructure, and diagnosing signal connectivity faults.
- Proven ability to utilize specialized software configuration tools and database management utilities specific to modern access control technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into actionable solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility to perform on-site duties at our various locations, including a requirement for occasional travel to support regional project sites.
