Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide routine animal care and check their health status
- Diagnose illnesses and determine the best treatment
- Dress wounds of injured animals
- Administer appropriate Vaccines to farm animals to prevent diseases
- Monitor the reproductive health of the farm animals
- Prescribe medication
Requirements and Skills:
- 3 years work experience
- Experience conducting various types of vaccinations and health checks on animals
- Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
- Knowledge of animal behavior
- Strong fondness and understanding of animals
- Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the well-being of an animal
- Problem-solving skills
- Availability to take evening or weekend shifts in cases of emergency
- Patience and a love for animals
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
Location: Delta
Remuneration: NGN 300,000 Monthly Net
