The Tenders and Contracts Officer is responsible for coordinating and contributing to the review and evaluation of tenders and contracts, as well as compiling contracts. They oversee all contract policies, procedures, processes, standards, and compliance obligations of contractors and contract activities to minimize risk and maximize benefits.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and contributing to the review and evaluation of tenders and contracts, as well as compiling contracts.
- Oversee all contract policies, procedures, processes, standards, and compliance obligations of contractors and contract activities to minimize risk and maximize benefits for the Corporation.
- The officer reports to the Divisional Manager.
- Works closely with various departments, and provides professional advice and assistance.
- They also maintain and monitor contractual records, prepare and submit Request for Proposals (RFPs) and other tender documents.
- Develop, implement, and monitor tendering and contract processes in compliance with statutory controls, regulations, and the Corporation's requirements.
- They also coordinate the tenders' process from pre-qualification to final bid submission, award contracts, and engagement close-out.
- The officer works with the Risk Management Department to identify risks and implement mitigation measures, and evaluate contractor performance management systems.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Law, or equivalent, and certification in the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tender management, contract administration, or procurement.
- Experience with legal aspects of contracts and contract negotiation.
- Strong understanding of tendering processes, procurement procedures, and contract management.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and contract management software.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure.
