Technical Drawing Teacher

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive technical drawing curriculum that covers fundamental drawing techniques, geometric construction, and CAD software usage.
• Provide hands-on instruction in drafting tools and equipment, such as T-squares, triangles, and drafting pencils.
• Guide students in creating technical drawings and blueprints for architectural, engineering, and design projects.
• Introduce students to industry-standard CAD software and teach them how to create digital drawings and 3D models.
• Foster creativity and problem-solving skills through design challenges and real-world application projects.-Assess student progress and understanding through assignments, projects, and practical demonstrations.
• Create a supportive and collaborative classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore and innovate.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technical drawing concepts into cross-curricular projects and activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• State teaching certification or license in Technical Drawing or Engineering Education.
• Proficiency in technical drawing techniques, including manual drafting and CAD software.
• Experience working in a technical or design-related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students in hands-on learning activities.
• Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
