Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Install solar systems on roofs, ground mounts, and other structures, following established installation guidelines and procedures.
- Perform thorough site surveys to assess the location, orientation, and shading potential of solar panels.
- Install and connect solar panels, inverters, and electrical components under electrical and building codes.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repair activities on existing solar systems to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute installation projects ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Test and commission installed systems to ensure they meet quality standards and function properly.
- Maintain accurate records of installation projects, including materials used, labour hours, and any modifications or repairs made.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining  system operations, and offering maintenance recommendations.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to solar, renewable energy and electrical systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree
- 2 years of working experience
- The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills
