Social Media manager/Content Creator

Job Summary

LÒFINDA, a UK based Wedding Directory is seeking a creative, self-motivated and proactive individual to manage our Social media pages as well as develop and implement marketing strategies for business growth. Attention to detail very essential.

Job Description/Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a very good command of the English language, possess excellent writing skills, have some knowledge of weddings and be able to write articles for us on different topics relating to weddings. Attention to detail very essential.


The candidate will be required to:

• Work remotely as we are based in the UK

• Prepare well-structured write-ups (Blog posts, Client and customer emails, featured couples/vendor articles, press releases etc)

• Build, manage and grow the company's social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest)

• Produce and post various social media content types, including sponsored feed/story posts, topical graphics, flyers, quizzes, polls etc

• Develop and implement a scheduled social media calendar

• Liase with Couples and Vendors via email and instagram DM in a professional and timely manner

• Liaise with clients  (vendors and brands) to execute promotional posts, events and campaigns

• Host Instagram Live sessions (Vendors/Couple interviews, Topical sessions etc)

• Conduct regular hashtag research to improve social media reach and performance

• Produce and send promotional marketing emails/DM to recruit and onboard new vendors to wedding directory

• Produce and send regular email marketing to recruit new companies/businesses for paid/sponsored marketing

• Produce and send regular email marketing to registered couples, vendors and businesses

• Suggest and implement new ideas/strategies for revenue generation and business growth

• Conduct regular competitor analysis and consumer requirements/trends research


Skills:

• Knowledge of the wedding and entertainment industry

• A Computer (Laptop) and good working phone

• Exceptional writing, research and presentation skills

• Creative, proactive, attention to detail and an eye for great design

• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision and still meet deadlines

• Excellent organisational skill and multi-tasking ability

• Experience of Social media management, content creation and email marketing

• Experience of Microsoft Office Suite and WordPress
