Job Summary

As a Social Media Handler at JESL, you will manage and grow our social media platforms. You will creatively and strategically engage with our audience, promote our projects, and communicate our mission effectively. You will be responsible for creating and curating content, managing social media campaigns, and analysing performance metrics.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
  • Create multimedia content (graphics, videos, infographics) that aligns with our brand and message.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with JESL’s voice, style, and tone.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic.
  • Monitor and analyze social media trends, tools, and applications, and leverage them to enhance our social media presence.
  • Identify and target key audience segments to optimize content reach and engagement.
  • Plan, execute, and manage social media campaigns, including promotions, contests, and sponsored posts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing strategies.
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond promptly and professionally.
  • Foster positive interactions and build relationships with followers, industry influencers, and potential clients.
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and others.
  • Generate regular reports on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in social media marketing.
  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., Environmental Analysts, Project Managers) to gather content and ensure accurate representation of our projects and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the design team to create visually appealing content.


Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Skills: Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate engaging content.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
