Experienced Statutory Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client queries via WhatsApp, email, or other channels.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, offering valuable insights to clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
• Stay updated on changes to accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance with industry practices.
• Assist in implementing accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as required by management or regulatory bodies.
• Support tax compliance activities, including tax return preparation and providing information for audits.
• Participate in special projects aimed at improving financial processes and systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience working in an Accounting Firm is a plus
  
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Statutory Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Strong ethics and integrity, dedicated to upholding professional standards and confidentiality.
• Must have a laptop or desktop computer with reliable internet access.

Work Schedule: Availability to work full time from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
