The Opportunity:

The Project Developer will provide project support to the Asset Development team by assisting in the development of energy generation and other assets throughout the project lifecycle through to financial close. This includes project identification and origination, concept stage, development and permitting and commercialisation.

The role will report to the Head of Development and can be worked flexibly from home and our Southbank office – hybrid work model.

Reasonable requests for part time work will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the progression of project development(s) in the portfolio and includes applying sound project management expertise to ensure schedules, budget, procurement and risk are documented and controlled appropriately and management of both internal and external resources such as contractors; Management of landowner and stakeholder relationships; Provision of support to the Development Manager throughout planning processes to secure necessary statutory project approvals; Development and implementation of community engagement plans for utility-scale generation developments; Audit highly complex projects during construction in accordance with permit conditions.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have gained substantial development and construction project work experience, preferably from renewable energy developments. You are interpersonally savvy and have exceptional planning and prioritising skills. You can balance stakeholders, communicate effectively and collaborate well with others to meet shared objectives.
