Job Title: Packing Manager-Refinery

Qualification: B.Sc in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering
Job Roles

• Manage end-to-end operations of the filling and packaging lines (bottles, pouches, jerry cans), ensuring output targets and quality standards are consistently met
• Supervise, schedule, and performance-manage a team of packing operators and technicians
• Coordinate with the production and logistics teams to align packing schedules with refinery output and dispatch requirements
• Monitor and minimise product wastage, packaging material losses, and line downtime
• Enforce GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), food safety standards, and NAFDAC compliance on the packing floor
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on filling and sealing equipment; coordinate with maintenance team for breakdowns
• Maintain accurate records of production output, shift reports, material usage, and quality checks
• Train and develop packing floor staff to improve efficiency and reduce errors
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase line productivity
