Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for Office 365 products, including Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Office 365 access, application performance, and connectivity.
- Assist with user account management, including setup, password resets, and permissions through Azure Active Directory.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage Office 365 services, security policies, and configurations.
- Support email administration, including spam filtering, archiving, and mailbox management.
- Provide guidance and training to end-users on effective use of Office 365 tools to enhance productivity.
- Monitor and manage Office 365 licensing, ensuring appropriate assignment and usage.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and assist with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and retention settings.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest updates, features, and best practices for Office 365 services.
- Assist in the migration or integration of data into Office 365 from other platforms when needed.
- Provide technical support for third-party applications and integrations related to Office 365.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in providing Office 365 support and troubleshooting in a business environment.
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Office 365 admin portal, and user account management.
- Experience with email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3) and Exchange Online management.
- Knowledge of Office 365 security and compliance features, such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) and data loss prevention (DLP).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting internet connectivity issues.
- Proficiency in managing Office 365 Admin Center and related tools.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automating tasks in Office 365.
- Knowledge of SharePoint and OneDrive configuration and support.
- Understanding of Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration.
- Familiarity with Exchange Online, email routing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory integration with Office 365.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with Office 365 applications quickly and effectively.
- Security Management: Understanding of security best practices for Office 365 and Azure environments, including MFA and access management.
- Backup and Recovery: Knowledge of data backup and recovery methods for Office 365 and associated applications.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Customer Service: A proactive approach to supporting end-users, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
