Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide clear, accessible explanations of complex NDT concepts and methods to trainees.
- Mentor and support trainees throughout their learning process, offering guidance and feedback to ensure proficiency in NDT techniques.
- Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their development.
- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive NDT training programs, including theoretical and practical components.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions with NDT equipment and techniques, ensuring practical skills are developed.
- Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources.
- Organize and manage training schedules, ensuring that all sessions are conducted promptly.
- Track and document trainee progress, performance, and certification status.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry professionals to understand their training needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Represent the organization at industry events and networking opportunities to promote training programs and services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Certification in NDT methods (e.g., ASNT Level II/III, ISO 9712) is required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in NDT, with at least 2 years in a training or instructional role
- Strong knowledge of various NDT methods, equipment, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.
- Proficiency in using NDT equipment and software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for training sessions, client visits, or industry events as needed.
