Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Microbiologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our cocoa products through effective microbiological testing and analysis. This role requires experience in the food industry, preferably but not limited to cocoa processing.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor and maintain hygiene standards in the processing environment, including equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with various teams to implement and maintain quality control procedures. ï‚· Investigate and address any microbiological issues or deviations from standards, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in microbiology and food safety
Requirements:Â
- Educational Qualifications: Minimum of an HND/BSc in Microbiology or a related field.Â
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a microbiology role within the food industry.Â
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the food industry is required, with specific experience in cocoa processing being preferred.Â
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Â
- Knowledge: Understanding of microbiological testing methods, food safety regulations, and quality management systems.Â
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.Â
