Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations
- Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure all contracts are legally sound and comply with company policies.
- Handle and oversee litigation, arbitration, and other dispute-resolution processes
- Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with the company’s operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to reduce legal risk
- Ensure that the company adheres to corporate governance principles and practices.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with legal requirements.
- Develop and update HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Provide training on legal and HR compliance issues.
- Develop and implement training programs for employees and management on topics such as workplace harassment, diversity, and inclusion.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions and conducting interviews.
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated into the company smoothly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and admission to the bar.
- Should have a knowledge of Property Law
- The Ideal candidate has human resource experience
- Additional qualification, certification, or experience in Human Resource
- 2 years experience as a legal officer or attorney, with a strong understanding of corporate and property law.
- Experience in human resources management, preferably in a corporate setting.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and HR best practices.
- Understanding of corporate governance and compliance issues.
