Laboratory Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain laboratory machinery and plant equipment to ensure efficient and accurate production processes.
• Conduct routine inspections and checks on equipment to identify any malfunctions or deviations from operational standards.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Educational Qualifications: Minimum of a School Certificate/HND/BSc in a related field.
  
• Industry Experience: Previous experience in the food industry is required, with specific experience in cocoa processing being preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Lab Operator or similar role in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
• Skills: Strong technical skills, with the ability to operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment effectively. Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards are essential.
• Knowledge: Understanding of laboratory procedures, quality control methods, and food safety regulations.
• Communication: Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
