Our client is a fast growing brand in the retail sector seeking for an experienced, detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Officer to manage the inventory operations, ensuring adequate stock, and minimize expired and obsolete inventory, thereby maintaining the standards of excellence.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and tracking inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Performing regular stock audits and reconciling discrepancies.
- Coordinating with suppliers to manage orders and deliveries.
- Organizing and maintaining the inventory storage areas.
- Assisting with the implementation of inventory management systems.
- Generating reports and analyzing inventory data to optimize stock levels.
- Collaborating with store staff to ensure accurate product placement and availability.
- Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
- Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw material to identify shortages
- Analyze inventory data and conduct regular assessments to identify slow-moving or obsolete items.
- Record daily deliveries to reconcile inventory
- Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
- Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
- Collaborate with suppliers and ensure delivery of goods
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues as it concern delivery, pricing, and delivery
- Generate inventory reports detailing stock levels, turnover rates, and inventory aging
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in inventory management or a related field are a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory management or a related role, preferably in a retail or supermarket environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
