In-Process officer

Main Responsibilities

• Monitoring and inspection of production processes at all stages of production.
• To prepare the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and reports on process control activities.
• Monitor and assess product quality by inspecting manufacturing and packaging operations, batch documents, and provide advice during manufacturing operations.
• Inspecting production areas to make sure they are cleaned, sanitized, and free from material or residues from previous batch production.
• Carry out sampling of intermediate/bulk products and finished products
• Collection of retention samples from production. Reconciliation and transfer of the retained samples to the retention sample room, ensuring they are stored until their shelf life has expired.
• Routine water sampling for production activities.
• Performing immediate products integrity test, for hardness, weight, seal leakage etc.
• Ensuring that the required process metrics are met and strictly adhered to during production.
• Reviewing and verifying batch manufacturing records, to ensure accuracy.
  

Note

• Applicant should possess a B. SC or HND in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Science Laboratory Technology (Chemistry or Microbiology option)
• Candidate should have 1-3 years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing/ manufacturing industry.
