Finance Reporting Manager

Job Summary: Responsible for preparing Management Performance Report (MPR), Financial Report and compilation on annual budget input for the Plant.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Coordinate the preparation of monthly performance report (MPR) for the Plant.

Conduct monthly variance analysis to provide better informed management decision.

To ensure accurate monthly preparation of the Plant's financial report for Exco/Technical and presentation.

Coordinate and review the conduct of monthly financial Trend analysis and advise Management on effective cost management strategy.

Review Quarterly Preparation of DCP-Ibese income statement for Effective Tax Rate computation (ETR).

Coordinate the preparation and compilation of annual budget inputs for the Plant.

Perform any other duties as may be assigned by HOD.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in accounting or other related discipline. Relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, CPA, ACCA.

Work experience:

Minimum of 15 years relevant experience.

Skills & Competencies:

Good understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing industry. Good knowledge and understanding of finance best practices, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards. Basic knowledge of accounting packages and systems, including SAP Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills. Good data gathering, analysis and problem solving skills. High ethical standards and integrity. Basic proficiency in the use of MS Office tools.
