Responsibilities
The Geozone Sourcing Lead is responsible to support and generate procurement activities of the organization, leverage opportunities from across the globe. Ensuring services are obtained from specified suppliers that meet demand requirements, business and quality specifications. Negotiate with suppliers and ensure Goods and Services are delivered upon agreed terms and conditions; seeking maximum value for the company including agreed time, quality and cost. The role will report to the GZ Procurement Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
Maintains safety and service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business. Ensures all Vendors are contracted using correct forms of contract and vetted. Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company policies and procedures, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices. Acts as focal point for Internal Compliance teams in relation to items such a trade, ethics. Sarbanes-Oxley.OPERATIONAL CAPABILITY
Generate and implement effective sourcing and regional category management strategies. Running Spend analysis and Identifying Souring Opportunities and Projects while leveraging on local and regional volume and size. Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency. Perform cost analysis, negotiation strategies and benchmarking. Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement, market analysis and trends Perform estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques. Coordinate and liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, stake holder and internal product lines/businesses. Keep track of all costs and managing budgets. Get engaged with end users to understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business related issues. Managing the bids process from end to end while insuring compliance in all stages. Lead bid schedule and milestones. Prepare and review the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring TCO is considered in the final analysis. Manage the bid budget, to monitor and report on overall performance against KPIs where needed. Drive continuous improvement, through setting pre and post-bid reviews Ensuring all set deadlines are respected and met. Lead negotiation and/or re-negotiation of new and existing contract rate. Manage governance with the strategic suppliers and drive the suppliersâ performance towards operational excellence. Ensure efficient Supplier Base Management while performing due diligences and insuring transactions compliance. Develop and manage relationship management of key suppliers; scheduling regular performance reviews and SQ reviews.CLIENT COMMUNICATION
Maintains effective level of communication with a broad range of stakeholders in order to plan and prioritize contracting activities to support business requirements. Engage our external partners, contractors and subcontractors with the utmost professionalism and gain business alignment. Prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports, and provide visibility of other potential interruptions to internal customers.FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE
Identifies opportunities and implements actions to continually reduce the cost of supply, meet demand requirements and to generate savings and benefits to the business. Interfaces with AP personnel to ensure the entire procure-to-pay process is fully implemented and seamlessly for all stakeholders.PEOPLE MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT
Undertakes necessary Procurement training to enhance process excellence and the ability to improve overall performance. Responsible for completing all Company designated training and competency programs assigned to the position. Participates in the performance management program and quarterly conversations.VISION & LEADERSHIP
Identify process problems and concerns and make recommendations for innovative solutions and corrective actions to achieve desirable results, help the company better manage cost on supplies and supplier services.Qualifications
REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Law or Business. Experience of Compliance/Audit Interviews. Minimum 10 years of international experience in procurement. Ability to interact in English and potentially other language relevant in local hub. Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities. Experience working in an International Environment. Solid understanding of Procurement processes, Industry Standards and Supplier Management. Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills. Display impeccable time-management, attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Proficient in MS Office suite Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task with proven record of meeting deadlines Must be flexible with the ability to work in a constantly changing environment and quickly adapt to operational requirements Excellent Customer ServicePREFERRED:
Procurement Qualification CPP, CSCP or CIPS. 5+ years of experience of supervising teams. Experience of Managing Tenders of over $10m. Experience with Material Resource Planning and Demand Resource Planning Advanced excel user Presentation Skills to Director Level ERP Master User â Preferably JD Edwards Deep understanding of Purchasing Contracts and AgreementsOptions
