Job Summary

Our client in the hospitality industry is seeking for an Engineer who will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and enhancement of rides, and games. The role involves ensuring all equipment is safe, reliable, and operates efficiently, while also contributing to the development of new attractions and game concepts.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

  • Develop detailed engineering plans for new rides, games, and attractions.
  • Conduct simulations and modeling to predict performance and safety of new attractions.


Maintenance and Safety

  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance on all rides and attractions to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
  • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.


Project Management:

  • Manage engineering projects from conception through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with vendors.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specified standards.


Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Develop and update operational manuals for rides and attractions.


Innovation and Improvement:

  • Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in the amusement park industry.
  • Propose and implement improvements to existing attractions to enhance guest experience.


Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0 - 1 year


Skills:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations for amusement parks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physically fit to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment.


Work Environment:

  • Primarily onsite at the amusement park.
  • May require evening, weekend, and holiday work depending on park operations and maintenance schedules.


Location: Ogun State


Remuneration: 80,000 - 100,000
