Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Installing DSTV satellite dishes, decoders, and related equipment at residential and commercial properties.
- Aligning satellite dishes to ensure optimal signal reception.
- Configuring decoders and setting up channels according to customer preferences.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and resolving signal problems.
- Conducting routine maintenance to ensure system functionality and longevity.
- Responding to service calls and resolving customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Educating customers on DSTV system operation and providing basic troubleshooting tips.
- Adhering to safety standards and company procedures.
- Keeping accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Staying updated on DSTV technology and product offerings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DSTV Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in installing and configuring DSTV systems.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of satellite TV technology.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record [if applicable].
- Relevant certifications.
