Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with inquiries related to our services, including haulage, courier services, international delivery, and E-Commerce solutions.
- Educate customers about our services, pricing, and delivery options, ensuring clarity and satisfaction.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including payments, package drop-offs, and order pickups.
- Verify customer identification and package details to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Supervise the maintenance of records of transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of the day.
- Actively promote our services to customers who walk in, encouraging additional sales and engagement.
- Participate in marketing campaigns or events organized by the company to drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Take responsibility for client’s satisfaction, ensuring that customers expectations are met.
- Develop evaluation and feedback analysis for Gavice Logistics Limited by reflecting customers reactions and identifying success and areas for improvement.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail, or logistics.
- HND or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service or logistics is a plus.
- Must have completed NYSC
Skills and competencies:
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and organizational skills.
- Understanding contract terms and negotiation skills to secure favorable agreement with clients and vendors.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using computer systems for transaction processing and inventory management.
- Problem solving skills to address challenges that may arise.
- Ability to multitask
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure that orders are processed promptly.
Working Conditions:
- The working days: Mondays - Saturdays
- Work Time: 8:30 PM - 6:00 PM
