Job Summary

We need a Clinic Manager who direct responsibility in overseeing and supervising the daily operations of the clinic, managing staff productivity, ensuring optimum patient care and increase business growth.

  • Minimum Qualification : Degree
  • Experience Level : Senior level
  • Experience Length : 5 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Senior optometrist to identify and operate best practices, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Manage and oversees the administrative operations of the clinic on a daily basis.
  • Ensure patient satisfaction on every visit.
  • Develops strategic plans and implementation to enhance growth in business, especially financial growth.
  • Actively promote and sell our products and services through all available channels to prospective clients.
  • Overall supervision of the clinic staff.
  • Handle and resolve patients’ complaints/grievance following policies and procedures.
  • Monitor productivity and receivables.
  • Monitor new enrollment and ensures member retention.
  • Seek opportunity to collaborate with other agencies/organizations in promoting the clinics services.
  • Develop and implement clinic protocols.
  • Ensure dissemination of information to the clinic staff, providers and vendors on any updates and/or changes of clinics protocols.
  • Attends Management, Staff and QA meetings and other meetings as requested.
  • Oversee patient billing procedures for all clinic services and effect negotiations where necessary.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of special clinic projects.
  • Maintain compliance with Health Authorities and other necessary approval bodies at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality where necessary.
  • Train new clinic staff as necessary
  • Coordinate community events and outreaches in conjunction with the Marketing & Sales department.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of specific clinic projects.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and customers.
  • Other duties as assigned by Chief Executive Officer and/or Chief Medical.
  • Attends external trainings and meetings with other health bodies, HMO’s etc.


Requirements:

  • 5 years experience as an optometrist.
  • Adaptability and excellent decision-making skills
  • Must be skilled communicators
  • Must possess analytical skills.
  • Must possess excellent leadership skills, ability to motivate staff and delegate tasks.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must possess detail oriented and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player and work independently.
  • Microsoft Office/Word/Excel/Outlook
  • A Certification in Business Management, Healthcare Administration or a related field
  • Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role is a plus
  • Knowledge of the best practices for running a clinic is a plus
  • Ability to manage budgets and maintain inventory.
