Assistant General Manager (AGM) E & I, Coal Power Plant

Dangote Cement Plc, Gboko is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) for E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) at their Coal Power Plant. The AGM will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of electrical and instrumentation activities at the power plant.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems at the coal power plant Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of electrical and instrumentation equipment Supervise a team of technicians and ensure their compliance with safety regulations and procedures Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of electrical and instrumentation issues Monitor energy consumption and implement energy efficiency measures Manage the budget for electrical and instrumentation activities Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in electrical and instrumentation systems Provide technical support and guidance to other departments when needed Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum of 20 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, preferably in a coal power plant Excellent knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment Strong leadership and managerial skills Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work Good problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications

Requirements
