Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and analyze budget variances and provide recommendations to potential areas of improvement.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state and federal tax laws.
- Prepare and file financial reports with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders as required.
- Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and potential risks.
- Assist with audits, including preparation of supporting documentation and responses to auditor inquiries.
- Provide financial analysis and support to other department as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of HND/BSc degree in accounting or a related field
- 3 years of working experience
- Knowledge of accounting principles and book-keeping
