AC Technician

Responsibilities:

• Installing new AC systems, including ductwork, compressors, and thermostats, according to specifications.
• Inspecting and troubleshooting existing AC systems to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Repairing or replacing defective parts, such as motors, fans, and compressors.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating moving parts.
• Testing AC systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
• Responding to service calls from clients to address emergencies or resolve issues promptly.
• Providing recommendations to clients on energy-efficient upgrades or system replacements.
• Maintaining accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
• Adhering to safety protocols and regulations while working with AC equipment.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AC technology.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an AC Technician or HVAC technician.
• Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining AC systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, components, and systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Relevant HVAC certifications.
