We are looking to hire an innovative Social Media associate who will be responsible to drive our goals through multiple social media channels and unique profiles. You will work closely with the digital manager to increase brand awareness, drive prospects to brand websites, and engaging influencers via paid and organic social media presence.

KEY GOALS FOR OUR SOCIAL MEDIA ASSOCIATE 

  • Community management (all social media networks): Our Social Media department is growing quickly, and you will be reporting to the Digital Manager while working alongside others in the marketing team. 
  • You will also coordinate with our content team to develop and produce cross-platform content for Social media. 
  • You are also expected to be creative with viral content to engage audiences in conversations that drive our social media campaigns 
  • Work closely with the digital manager in brainstorming and implementing exciting new online content, optimized for each of our present and future social channels. 
  • Schedule and manage content across multiple social media platforms. 
  • Research new platforms that enable product discovery 

Web Duties: 

● Keep the website running seamlessly across all viewing platforms 

● Develop a regular cadence of updates and enhancements across content and design

● Conduct website security check regularly 

● Work closely with our creative team to design and develop new websites 

● Must be able to effectively create new websites fully from A-Z 

● Efficiently modify current websites and SEO for our talents 

● Create back-end code and interfaces for new web platforms 

● Analyze user needs to implement website content, graphics, performance, and capacity

● Integrate websites with other computer applications 

● Keep up-to-date on web developments and trends 

● Troubleshooting any user errors or coding problems as they arise 

● Ensure ease in user flows, wireframes, and user journeys 

● Portfolio showcasing high-quality work on mobile platforms and website 

Graphics Duties

  • You will be responsible for creating and designing digital assets for product on the roster
  • Your responsibilities also include creating assets for proposals and pitching for the label 

Other administrative duties include: 

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy 
  • Monthly report on the success of every social media campaign 
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies
  • Build relationships with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network 

Bring your vibe: 

  • 2 years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role with graphic designs, web and video editing attributes
  • Music advertising and Ad buying skills/experience is an added advantage 
  • Excellent knowledge of Instagram, Tik Tok/Thriller, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and other social media best practices 
  • Excellent understanding of influencer marketing, web traffic metrics, meme creation, and virality 
  • Experience with audience building and buyer persona research 
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs 
  • Critical thinker, multitasking, and problem-solving skills 
  • Great interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • BSc degree in any relevant field 

KPIs 

  • Overall growth report across all mavin social networks - Weekly, monthly and quarterly Increase in engagement rate on all platforms per product
  • Increase in reach rate on all platforms per product 
  • Increase in conversation rate on all platforms per product
  • Successful ad campaigns & ROI
