This role involves overseeing website performance, updating content, managing online products, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Monitor website performance, including speed, security, and overall functionality.
- Perform regular updates to the website’s content, plugins, and software to ensure everything is up-to-date and secure.
- Manage the product catalog on the e-commerce platform, including adding new products, updating prices, and ensuring accurate product descriptions.
- Oversee the online ordering process, ensuring orders are processed smoothly and customers receive their products on time.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to track inventory levels and manage stock availability on the website.
- Regularly review and optimize the website’s user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to improve navigation and overall usability.
- Work with the marketing team to implement SEO strategies that improve website ranking and visibility.
- Optimize product pages and content for search engines, including meta tags, alt texts, and keyword usage.
- Monitor website analytics using tools like Google Analytics to track visitor behaviour, sales performance, and conversion rates.
- Generate regular reports on website and e-commerce performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Use data insights to make informed decisions on website and e-commerce strategy adjustments.
- Ensure the website complies with legal requirements, including data protection regulations like GDPR.
- Manage and monitor website security, implementing measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Regularly back up the website and e-commerce data to prevent data loss.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align website content and e-commerce strategies with broader marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with the IT department for any technical support or website infrastructure needs.
Requirements:
- B.Sc/HND in Information Technology, E-Commerce, Web Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years proven experience in website management and e-commerce, preferably with e-commerce.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Shopify, Magento, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Experience with SEO best practices and tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
