Duties include the following, measurable in terms of time, cost, quality or quantity.
To have tight control over receivables and distribution of stocks with effective reconciliation w.r.t. stocks in accounts as well the accounts in his depot or warehouse.
Overseeing activities of the warehouse on a daily basis.
Responsible for warehouse staff appraisal and motivation
Managing, evaluating and reporting warehouse productivity.
Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
Ordering supplies and maintaining the required level of inventories.
Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing every necessary documentation.
Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor standards and strict compliance with the company’s policies and procedures
Reliably safeguard the assets of the Company both tangible and intangible
Supervise and manage all the employees at the warehouse
Organize and promote teamwork and staff development to ensure stable and reliable work of the warehouse
Actively participate in rotational programs learning adjacent areas from colleagues and teaching warehouse processes to others
Establish effective cooperation of the warehouse with other departments in Ibadan and with functional heads on the level of head office and/or Group level
Efficiently use the resources at the branch in the best interest of the Company and its goals
Day to Day Management - To manage the day-to-day activities of warehouse operations and providing guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high-performance standards in the warehouse.
Key Accounts - To focus actively on Key Accounts and seek support from various functional team/management where appropriate to ensure a prompt solution to their satisfaction.
To establish an economically effective and viable network for smooth distribution of alerzo’s products in the strategically defined demographic areas.
To monitor stock inventories in alignment with the budget and re-order level.
Responsible for all health and safety across the site and promoting a safe atmosphere in which to work.
People Management - Manages effective communication by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff, providing formal and informal feedback on performance and training needs - in order to maximize subordinate and department performance.
Reporting - To prepare all applicable reports in time for accuracy and in order to ensure that they match the functional requirements, policies and standards.
BSc/HND in Management, Accounting or Numerate discipline. 2+ Years of experience in Logistics, Distribution and Sales would be an advantage.
Well exposed to B2B Sales Logistics, Distribution and must have exposure in leading a team of 15 – 25 people.
Knowledge of MS-Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and other day to day reporting tools.
