DESCRIPTION

 

  • The Virtual assistant will assist the founder of the company ddyanamicd Nigeria limited and other ventures as independent sub-contractors. The founder is an entrepreneur with interest in hospitality, import and export, aeronautics consulting, freight forwarding, custom brokerage, cargo and air travel.
  • Ventures are all in their infancy i.e., new start ups and your role will be to assist the founder to perform tasks in all the business functions as allocated e.g. marketing, ops, financial management, purchasing, as well as personal errands.
  • As stated above, virtual assistants, will be required to work on specific tasks on an as needed basis. These tasks will be allocated based on your demonstrated competence.
  • Candidates with higher education in any discipline will be considered and are preferred. However, we do not believe in certificates but EVIDENCE. Secondary school leavers can also apply and where they demonstrate basic skills and knowledge of interest to us, they will be considered.
  • Ideal candidates will have good knowledge, interest passion or skills in any one of these:  Aviation/aeronautics, Hospitality, Agriculture, Transport and logistics, International trade and commerce, Financial management, Law.

 Above are just nice to have, any academic qualification and skills are fine.

 

 

TASK CATEGORIES

 

A. General Office Assisting ( ALL WORK DONE ONLINE) :

 

1. Assist with Admin duties from time to time such as data entry into spread sheets, software, document , filling e.t.c.

 

2. Typing of formal letters, email, documents and reports as directed e.tc.

 

3. Typing newsletter and using various computer software to create marketing materials.

  Producing spread sheets.

 

 

 

 4. Recording of all daily transactions in journals.

 

 5. Creation and editing of financial and other documents.

 

 6. Customer service.

 

 7. Record keeping.

 

 8. Conduct Research and report findings as directed.

 

 

B. Project Management ( Combination of Online and Physical site assignments):

 

 

1. Running official and personal errands for MD in and outside Lagos but mostly in Lagos, which will include but not limited to going to banks to carry out authorised banking transactions, visits to government agencies NCAA, NAMA, NEPC, FAAN, customs, NDLEA etc

 

2. Receive phone calls, read emails and reply as directed by MD

 

3. Supervise workers, equipment suppliers, service providers and act as a artisans such as plumbers, electricians, labourers and the like as directed by MD.

 

4. Personal and official errands such as grocery shopping, other shopping etc.

 

5. Helping out with purchase of car fuel etc

 

6. Research and report findings as directed

 

7. Managing room reservation platforms

 

8. Supervision of house keepers

 

9. Implementation of a project plan

 

10. Writing project plans

 

11. Comparing actual project outcomes to desired outcomes and reporting findings.

 

12. Provide regular progress reports and updates.

 

13.Customer service

 

The above list is not exhaustive, founder can assign you with any reasonable duties.

 

C. QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTORS ( PHYSICAL SITE WORK AND ONLINE)

 

1. Use assigned checklists to inspect various company operations, so as to ensure compliance with company accepted actions and practices.

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE

 

1. Computer and smart phone literate especially word, spreadsheets, be able to research and find things on the internet, must know how to use video internet call applications (ALL CANDIDATES) 

2. Ability to drive or ride a motor cycle very desirable (must have valid drivers license) PROJECT MANAGEMENT ONLY 

3. Having an international passport is desired but not essential. PROJECT MANAGEMENT ONLY

4. Lagos street smart, must be able to navigate with ease around the city using public transport to locate various addresses from time to time. PROJECT MANAGEMENT ONLY 

5. Ownership of a smart phone and laptop computer capable of receiving and sending mails, internet and taking pictures, you must have a access to a minimum of 2 mobile networks accessible to you .

6. Must be neat tidy and presentable at all times PROJECT MANAGEMENT ONLY

7. To use initiative and require very minimal supervision within reason. 

8. Good command of the English language written and spoken. Knowledge of French, Hausa yoruba and igbo is also an advantage.  

9. There is no minimum academic qualifications required, just prove yourself with the task. 

10. Knowledge of curt world affairs, interest in aviation, agriculture, travel added advantage 

11. Must have a bank account for payment of service fees. 

12. Honesty and integrity

13. Prior work experience in industry areas listed above desired.

14. Must be will to work overnight if required

15. Writing and editing of manuals and reports

16. Good grasp of general science, agriculture and food processing and technology  ( QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTORS ONLY .

17. QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTORS MUST BE BASED IN KADUNA STATE FOR NOW.

 

 


FEES START AT 1000 PER 8 HOURS BLOCK OF WORK. FEES MAY BE NEGOTIATED UPWARDS DEPENDING ON SPECIFIC TASK AND IT'S CATEGORY. COST OF INTERNET DATA AND PHONE CALLS WILL BE RE-IMBURSED.
