Job Description/Requirements
Hardworking, honest, enthusiastic with excellent oral and written communication skills. Flexible, resilient, and willing to “go with the flow.” Energetic, creative, good-natured, and with a great sense of humor. Someone who is fun-loving and knows how to engage with children. A versatile musician able to play the piano and other instruments to a high standard.
The ideal candidate must:
- Be able to play piano and sight-read sheet music to intermediate or advanced levels
Must either:
- Possess a music performance degree or a minimum of grade 5 piano practical certificate from a recognized music board such as the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, MUSON, Trinity College, or the London College of Music.
- A music degree that includes music composition/theory or a minimum of grade 5 theory certificate from a recognized music board such as the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, MUSON, Trinity College, or the London College of Music.
- Or Be willing to undergo a training programme with us to earn the required qualifications.
Requirements:
- In addition to the above, applicants must:
Be willing and able to work long, unpredictable hours.
Be willing to work every Saturday with one day off in lieu during the week.
Have experience of playing other instruments, e.g drums or guitar
Be available to start immediately
