Responsibilities:

• Driving and carrying out regular maintenance and repairs of tractors
• Operating tractors safely and efficiently.
• Acknowledge limits of own capability and knowledge but willing to seek assistance from the trainer and technical guidelines.
• Performing inspections of tractors and ability to hitch and unhitch attachments safely.
• Keen to adopt a maintenance culture.
• Reporting any faults or concerns to the Maintenance Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
• Open to interstate travel.
• Teachable, literate, and able to be directed while acquiring the skills of a would-be tractor operator.
• Basic internet awareness and its use in self-directed education.
• Open to learning about the working principles and practical applications of modern farm equipment.
• Possess aptitude to transit from tractor trainee to operator in a reasonable timeline.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years working experience.
• A completed apprenticeship might be an advantage or experience in a similar role.
• Should hold a current driver’s Licence.
• Basic internet awareness and its use in self-directed education.
  
• The ability to identify and react appropriately to hazards.
• Basic knowledge of heavy equipment.
• Open to learning about the working principles and practical applications of modern methods
  
• Prior experience in working on tractors is not compulsory
• Visitation to our other farms in Ekiti and Niger sometimes

Remuneration: NGN 50,000 - 100,000
