Technical Editor/Proofreader

• Developing and refining precise method statements that align with specification requirements, budget, and the model devised.
• Reviewing and checking documents for errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting.
• Ensuring consistency in style, tone, and formatting across all documents.
• Conducting personal research and using pertinent data to reinforce the relevance and persuasiveness of method statements.
• Accuracy of all data must be ensured.
• Collaborating with writers, editors, and other team members to make necessary revisions/edits and ensure timely submissions.

• Minimum of 6 months experience as an editor and/or proofreader
• Keen eye for detail
• Strong English proficiency (both oral and verbal)
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations
• Familiarity with MS Office, Google Suite, Grammarly, ChatGPT, Copilot, and other tools
• Effective communication skills
• Strong time management and reliability
• Knowledge of the UK health and social care sector is preferred, but not mandatory as training will be provided to support staff
• Must live in Lagos and can comfortably commute to Ikoyi
