A Technical Assistant to the Managing Director (MD) provides high-level technical, analytical, and operational support to the MD, assisting with strategic initiatives, decision-making, and overall business activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects, often involving data analysis and report preparation.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Support: Assist the MD in developing and implementing the company strategy, managing planning, organising, and performance monitoring.
- Technical and Analytical Support: Provide technical and financial analysis, research, and report preparation for the MD.
- Administrative Support: Manage the MD's schedule, organise meetings, prepare correspondence, and handle confidential matters.
- Liaison and Communication: Act as a liaison between the MD and internal/external stakeholders, including strategic partners.
- Data Analysis: Analyse functional and organisational data, identify trends and opportunities, and create reports.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and effective execution.
- Event Management: Organise and coordinate events, meetings, and speaking engagements for the MD.
- Travel Coordination: Manage travel itineraries and coordinate related administrative activities.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices.
- Ability to handle confidential information and maintain discretion.
