Suitable candidates should have 

• High level of expertise in modern, Secure Software Development practices and the Frameworks

• High level of expertise in DevSecOps practices, associated industry trends, and the automation tooling that enables delivery of platforms at scale (Jira, Slack, Ansible, Kubernetes, Terraform, Puppet and more).

• Identify and develop opportunities provided by new technology to address our transformation objectives and enable new ways of working

Key accountability will include

• Technology Assessment

• HLD and LLD Design Documents

• Build of prototypes, PoCs, PoVs and MVPs of various solutions

• Leading complex solution delivery

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• Experience designing networks, systems and application infrastructures on-premise and in cloud (private and public) environments

• Understanding of key activities across the full breath of the software development lifecycle

• Experience planning, researching, developing and introducing template libraries and automation

• Experience and expertise with IaC (primarily terraform)

• Ability to work in a complex ecosystem and manage priorities accordingly

• Ability to work within unfamiliar environments, employ analytical skills to quickly understand complex technical problems and translate business requirements into successful deliverable

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Expertise with terraform, python, yml languages

• Experience with LAMP and WAMP technology stack

• Expert knowledge of containerisation, preferably Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

• At least one of the following certifications (TOGAF, CITA, EACOE, Certified SOA Architect, etc.)

• At least one of the following certifications Linux RHCE or similar or Windows MCSE

• Knowledge of network technologies

• Preferred at least CCNA

• At least one of the following certifications

• AWS DevOps Professional

• Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer

• GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
