Job Summary

The successful candidate will be in charge of leading brand communication campaigns; off experiential and digital ideas, resulting in change in brand behavior that drives ongoing Brand conversations. S/he will decide and evaluate strategies for each brief, ensuring it is thoroughly understood and executed to exceed clients expectations.

Job Description/Requirements


  • Interpret client briefs and propose creative strategies for promotional campaigns across both BTL and ATL channels.
  • Translate strategy into clear objectives and marketing initiatives
  • Maintain up-to-date detailed knowledge of the competitive landscape and work to develop long-term plans for competitive differentiation
  • Develop and implement recommendations for long term marketing programs which could include strategic alliances with other brands
  • Profile target groups and and consumers for FMCG's and proffer creative strategies that fit their lifestyle.
  • Collaborate with team members to come up with creative and innovative concepts that provide strategic solutions for brands business and communication objectives.
  • Support go-to-market plans, events, sponsorships, and branding.
  • Interpret and analyze market trends and product data to identify customer and brand opportunities
  • Analyze and develop procedures to measure and track the success of marketing initiatives
  • Independently manage the work of analyst(s) and/or marketer(s) in support of programs and initiatives
  • Effectively mentor and coach team members on marketing initiatives and new trends
  • Research and gather data on competitor strategies, brand positioning and marketing trends to develop well-informed strategic plans for clients. 
  • Liaise with Client Service and Creative to receive feedback and create improvements to strategies.
  • Provision of capacity building and training services

Minimum Experience:

  • 3-5yrs experience similar position with a proven track record of winning pitches.

  • Strong leadership experience managing a team of people; hands-on management & coaching

  • Great campaign and sector knowledge from experiential to digital, financial services to FMCG (obviously dependent on the agency)

  • An impressive track record in servicing clients at blue-chip businesses

  • Proven track record in growing accounts, winning new business/pitches

  • A credible client background with a solid strategy and marketing and credentials

  • A portfolio that demonstrates a history of generating innovative ideas

  • Knowledge of e-commerce, web technology, and online marketing concepts, industry trends, etc.


  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma  in Mass Communication, Marketing, Advertising or any relevant field of study
