Job Summary

The Strategic Sales Manager will be charged with identifying go-to-market strategies and opportunities, executing strategic projects to enable growth. He/She should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and yearly pipeline metrics, awarded deals, and closed deals to meet or exceed company goals.  
  • Wear multiple hats: can work a sales deal from start to finish.  
  • Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and clients 
  • Gather market feedback and help set the strategic direction of the business  
  • Partner with Marketing to achieve lead generation, prospecting, and other sales management goals designed to build an optimal sales pipeline for the team 
  • Partner with the account management team to ensure a seamless Sales to Service transition
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players agencies and vendors.  
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to retain the existing customers and attract new ones.
  • Identify business leads, attract, and convert potential clients to loyal ones.  
  • Increase the existing customer pool to boost market share.  
  • Identify and deploy the most effective channels to promote and raise brand awareness of the company’s platform. 
  • Negotiate transaction value and delivery timelines 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of a BSc degree 
  • 7 - 10 years of related experience in sales 
  • Ability to influence decision-makers up and down levels with and without direct authority. 
  • Ability to identify and assess risk and prioritize competing demands. 
  • Experience presenting and articulating complex concepts 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal in English 
  • Demonstrated experience working with multiple stakeholders including direct and channel marketing, product  management, and account management teams 
  • Develop and/or maintain current knowledge of - Competitor features and comparisons 
  • Product content, design, operation, and use cases 
  • Go To Market strategies and initiatives
