Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers as they enter the store, providing a welcoming and helpful atmosphere.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products, prices, and promotions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Stock shelves, arrange displays, and ensure products are correctly priced and labeled.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle customer complaints and returns professionally and efficiently
- Follow all store policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Assist in opening and closing the store, as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic maths skills and proficiency in using POS systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move merchandise as needed.
- Available to work on weekends and holidays.
