Job Summary

Obitek Nigeria Limited is looking for a highly skilled stock handler to help in organizing, receiving, inspecting, returning, unloading, shelving, packing, labeling, delivering and maintaining proper record of stocks that go in and out of the warehouse.

  • Minimum Qualification : OND
  • Experience Level : Mid level
  • Experience Length : 2 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain Inventory controls and management systems by introducing new ideas that could help make the inventory system better.

  • Maintain and reconcile stock across warehouses daily.

  • Prepare a weekly report showing a summary of stock balances and movements.

  • Prepare monthly stock reconciliation Report for Management (indicating discrepancies and stating reasons if any).

  • Monitor office supplies and ensure the warehouse is never out of supply.

  • Maintain stock of bad stock and ensure they are accounted for.

  • Track the shipment of goods.

  • Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems

  • Examine the levels of supplies to determine shortages.

  • Quarterly physical stock across branches and preparation of quarterly stock report for Management.

  • Prepare annual reports for Management.

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, and space management, logistics, and floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.

  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime

  • OND/HND or BSC 
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Use of accounting software a plus
