Solution Architect

Job Summary

As an Architect, you are responsible for providing technical leadership to small size/complexity/order-value projects. You are expected to have a depth of knowledge of the specified technological area, which includes knowledge of applicable processes, methodologies, standards, products, and frameworks. You would be responsible for defining and documenting architecture, capturing and documenting non-functional (architectural) requirements, preparing estimates, and defining technical solutions to proposals (RFPs). You would provide technical leadership to the project team to perform design-to-deployment-related activities, provide guidance and perform reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues. In addition, engage in pre-sales assignments, proactively promote offerings, run sales enablement to internal groups/verticals/delivery in promoting domain services and use cases, show thought leadership and technology transformation for current clients, and help in acquiring net new logos.

Job Description/Requirements


  • Build and deliver end-to-end technical solutions that meet customer requirements and with the objective of increasing revenue profitability, being innovative, and staying market competitive.
  • Delivering sales presentations covering business/domain and technology solutions to prospective customer audiences. These must articulate the sales message, differentiate Tecnotree offerings, and leave a strong and positive impression to audiences which can include senior company executives.
  • Lead and support solution architecture design workshops to promote new and innovative solutions for customers and prospects. Collaborate with the sales team to find opportunities at accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver value-based demos in support of sales cycles. Support events both on-site and remotely.
  • Effectively communicate with Product Managers, Engineering Leaders, stakeholders, peers, and developers.
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of digital, analytics, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Assist the overall bid management while owning the offered solution for an RFP/RFI.
  • Develop close relationships with sales teams to promote effective sales methodologies.

Experience & Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering - Telecom/Computer Science or equivalent and Master’s in Business.
  • Over 8 years of hands-on experience in telecom wireline, wireless, and cable industry with a minimum of 4 years of experience in end-to-end BSS solution consulting, architecture, and design.
  • Understanding of telecom OSS-BSS user persona, use cases, and Standards.
  • Proven implementation experience with large Telecom BSS/OSS transformations in the Telecom Wireless industry.
  • In-depth understanding of fixed, mobile, and convergence domains and related markets.
  • In-depth Understanding of CRM (not limited to Product Catalog modelling, Order Management, Customer Management, Billing Interface, user-role matrix, etc.), Billing, IN, and Charging Architecture, technologies, and concepts.
  • Understanding of the technology stack in-depth, including applications within and outside the Domain.
  • Understanding of RESTful WS, API.
  • Experience in architecting/migrating BSS solutions will be a value add.
  • Experience in Java, Servlet, Spring, Hibernate, Angular, React JS, MySQL.
  • Exposure and knowledge of TMForum, eTOM, TAM, and SID models.
  • Experience in project management and team leadership.
  • English language skills, business fluent in spoken and written.
  • Pro-active consulting attitude and willingness to travel.
  • Cloud certifications.
