Responsibilities:
- Create original content
- Edit, publish and share said engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
- Develop and implement an effective social media strategy
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Communicate with followers, promptly respond to messages and queries and sell the company in a positive light at all times.
- Monitor customer reviews
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness such as promotions and competitive strategies
- Work hand-in-hand with the marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure brand consistency
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends on social media, design tools, and applications.
Requirements:
- Candidate should possess a minimum of either an HND or BSc in a relevant field.
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Vast knowledge of the running of the different social media platforms
- Proven work experience as a Social media manager
- Hands-on experience in content management
- Solid knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization), keyword research, and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and multitasking skills
