Job Summary

A Site Supervisor completes construction projects by planning, organizing, and controlling projects; completing quality inspections; supervising sub-contractors and staff. Construction projects require coordination between many different contributors. Laborers, managers, supervisors, clients, and other stakeholders work together to ensure that the projects proceed as planned.

Job Description/Requirements


  • Assist the project manager in planning the project
  • Assist the project manager in creating a schedule for the construction project
  • Support the project manager in hiring contractors and choosing suppliers for the project
  • Supervise construction projects to make sure they meet technical specifications
  • Ensure that construction projects are completed within planned cost and time
  • Keep accurate records of material and labour costs incurred in the construction process
  • Monitor the progress of the construction work and performance of subcontractors and on-site workers.
  • Liaise with contractors, managers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all parties remain coordinated.
  • Keeping detailed records of construction site activities.
  • Overseeing the progress of all construction activities
  • Ensuring all on-site workers adhere to the health and safety regulations
  • Implementing industry best practices and safety protocols
  • Regularly checking inventory and placing orders for building materials
  • Ensuring all equipment is in working order and in good condition
  • Performing first aid during emergencies
  • Interpreting building plans and construction blueprints
  • Conducting site inspections to ensure it is free from any safety hazards
  • Handling any on-site accidents with uttermost care and awareness
  • Maintaining an accurate attendance report of all construction site workers
  • Reviewing daily construction work and suggesting any improvement measures
  • Ensuring all emergency equipment is in place and in working order
  • Ensuring project completion as per the set timeline
  • Communicating the progress report to the Construction Project Manager
  • Motivate all the participants in the project
  • Attending any on-site meetings or events.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Building, Civil Engineering, or any related field is preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a Supervisor in a construction company.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in project management applications.
  • Health and Safety certifications.
  • Basic knowledge of first aid practices.
  • Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Good analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work for long hours.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Critical thinker and possessing troubleshooting ability.
  • Ability to offer a high level of customer service.
  • Detail-oriented and a team player.
