We’re building our online presence through authentic founder-led videos — content that shares our journey of building BNB, inspires other entrepreneurs, and promotes the platform to beauty professionals and clients.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative, trend-savvy video editor who can transform talking clips and behind-the-scenes footage into scroll-stopping short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts — plus occasional long-form edits.

The videos will be authentic, story-driven, and hook-focused, showing what it’s like to build a tech startup in the beauty space. Think of the editing style used by founders and creators who mix business lessons with storytelling and viral hooks.

Responsibilities

• Edit 15 short-form videos (15–60 seconds each) per month
• Occasionally edit long-form content (2–10 minutes) such as interviews or founder stories
• Add captions, viral hooks, transitions, and sound effects that increase watch time
• Use trending music and pacing aligned with Instagram & TikTok beauty/business audiences
• Collaborate on creative direction to keep content authentic yet attention-grabbing
• Ensure every edit supports our mission — to build the #1 visual beauty-booking platform in Africa and beyond

Ideal Candidate

• Strong portfolio of Reels/TikToks/YouTube Shorts (preferably business, lifestyle, or beauty-focused)
• Understands viral editing formulas: hooks, pacing, jump cuts, retention tactics
• Can craft edits that feel natural and personal while staying on trend
• Fluent in English and communicates clearly
• Works efficiently and delivers consistent quality
• Proficient with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

Compensation

• ₦230,000 NGN per month
• 15 edited videos per month (majority short-form)
• Long-term opportunity for the right candidate
