Key Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee shipping operations, including coordinating vessel bookings, managing shipping schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with trade regulations and customs requirements. Build sustainable working relationships with shipping agents, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the shipping operations department. Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives. Perform any other duties assigned by the management. Requirements
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree and certificates in Sea Port Operations Management or a related field. 5 - 9 years of experience in shipping operations management, preferably in a multinational company. Skills and Competencies
Good knowledge of international shipping regulations and requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and consistently deliver projects on time. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and shipping software.
