Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • He will organize, implement, and direct vehicle maintenance operations and activities. 
  • In addition, the position incumbent performs the full range of managing the flow of day-to-day operations of the fleet technical team and supports team development, including training and evaluation of team members or cross-functional partners to ensure success. 
  • Monitors the quantitative and qualitative achievements of the team and shares with appropriate stakeholders. 
  • The candidate ensures safety and fleet performance over time, compliance with statutory regulations, and improving operational efficiency. 
  • The ideal candidate will manage the assignment and supervise the day-to-day aspects of the work and will work in line with the organization’s priorities 
  • The performance measurement criteria of the ideal candidate include the level of fuel consumption of the fleet, productivity, fleet management, and the level of operating costs of the fleet.
  • Organizing, implementing, and directing vehicle maintenance operations and activities. 
  • Performing the full range of vehicle and equipment duties and operating related equipment including training and evaluation of assigned staff. 
  • Ensures safety and fleet performance over time, up-to-date registration, licensing of vehicles and compliance with statutory regulations, and improving operational efficiency. 
  • He/She would lead and monitor customers’ fleet which includes fuel consumption of fleet, performance monitoring, fleet management, productivity, and level of operating costs of fleet


Requirements:

  • Minimum of Higher National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related subjects. 
  • 5-7 years’ experience in fleet management or logistics. 
  • Ability to multitask and maintain good time management. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Good team management 
  • Good customer relations. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Good ICT and social media skills 
  • Good Industry knowledge and experience. 


Remuneration: NGN 5,000,000 - 6,000,000 Per annum
