Job Summary

The position exists to provide day to day technical support to all customers both internal and external. Expertise required to support systems software application SQL, Windows and Azure Platforms as well as responding to customer queries and adhere to all policies and procedures for Services

  • Minimum Qualification: Diploma
  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 4 years

Job Description/Requirements

·         Troubleshoot and Respond to Multichannel Tickets logged within the required response and resolution SLA as per Contractual agreement

·         Provide day-to-day technical support for all Company's and third party products

·         Assist with setting up lab environments per customer / tender specifications.

·         Provide basic training on core applications

·         Install, configure and troubleshoot the MS operating systems and products installed on those systems.

·         Update Ticket entries with clear informative written English, without jargon or the use of acronyms

·         Interface when necessary with stakeholders or 3rd party vendors to obtain any assistance required

·         Adhere to clearly defined Escalation Matrices and ITSM RACI 

Qualifications and experience


·         Matric

·         Diploma or Degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Software Systems Support or related qualification 

·         MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate)

·         At least 2 years’ experience in a service desk / help desk environment, systems and application support

·         Experience with service level agreements and maintenance

·         Experience with Azure

·         Experience in networking and telecoms covering Microsoft applications

·         Experience with database platforms, GSM and radio networking

·         Experience in the utilities or electrical industry is advantageous
