Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and metal fabrication work according to specifications.
- Cut, assemble, and join metal components using appropriate welding techniques.
- Interpret measurements, drawings, and fabrication instructions accurately.
- Ensure quality finishing and durability of completed work.
- Guide and support junior welders and trainees where required.
- Maintain welding tools, equipment, and workstations in good condition.
- Observe and promote workplace safety standards.
- Minimize material wastage and support efficient resource utilization.
- Collaborate with production teams to meet project timelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in welding and metal fabrication.
- Ability to use welding and fabrication equipment effectively.
- Good understanding of measurements, technical drawings, and fabrication processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant technical training or certification is an added advantage.
